He also seemed bothered when asked to help us move furniture that needed to be moved to fit his ladder back in place after he finished and he did not help very much. He took longer than expected to complete the task. So, it ended up more expensive than we expected and we had to clean up after him. Also, while I would have definitely agreed to have him use his own anchors to mount the items, he should have asked me before doing it. Instead, he told me at the end he was charging me for extra parts that I didn't even know he used. It was a small amount of money but he still should have asked in advance. Other handymen we've hired have been more helpful and courteous, cleaned up after themselves, and helped move things back into place. Rating 3 stars and not lower only because he did install the curtain rods and gave some decent suggestions for how to patch the holes from the mounted rods when we move out of the apartment.
