Frequently asked questions about Full Service Moving
Movers in Portland cost start at $55 an hour for full-service moving. The time it takes Taskers to help depends on many factors, including the type of work, the size of your home, the amount of items, and more. As a rule of thumb, packing and unpacking professionals take as many days to unpack as there are rooms in the house. This means a studio or one bedroom apartment can be packed (or unpacked) in as little as a day, and a four bedroom house can be packed (or unpacked) in around four days.
It varies from Tasker to Tasker, but typically full service movers do it all: pack, move, unpack, and so-on. Chat with your Tasker before the job to set expectations.
Full-service moving companies will help with every aspect of the move, from packing the first box to helping you settle in to your new home. On the other hand, self service moving companies only provide the truck, leaving the packing, loading, unpacking, and unloading up to you.
