Move Furniture Up/Downstairs in New York City

Isiah was a true superhero - a great guy who worked really hard and efficiently carrying heavy, awkward items up 2 flights of stairs! Calm, great eye for strategy, and great taste in books :) 100% would book again - and recommend anyone else to do the same!

Standly is a calm, quiet force of nature! The man has the strength of three men, and it's quite amazing to witness. He also is a quiet, calm presence in the difficulties of a stressful move. Although I'd never met or spoke with Standly before, he accepted my same-day request for his assistance with moving several large pieces of furniture, many boxes, and other small items out of my ailing great-grandmother's home. Many of the items were antiques with sentimental value to me, and he took great care when handling them. He also indulged my offer of helping him move things, even though I am less than half his size, and I'm sure I was more in his way than a substantial help to him. He also was very patient when I had to make last-minute changes to our Task because of scheduling limits at the storage facility I was using. He came back the next day with a big smile on his face and ready to do hard work. I will gladly recommend Standly and hire him again. What a great, professional, lovely Tasker!
