How it works
Frequently asked questions
Lawn mowing services typically cost between $22-30 per hour depending on the size of your lawn, your Tasker’s experience, and what kind of equipment they’ll be using.
Depending on the season and where you live, you may need to have your lawn mowed as frequently as once a week. You don’t want to let your lawn go too long without cutting it, or you might end up with unhealthy grass, an uneven lawn, and ultimately a much harder lawn to cut, which will take more time to cut and leave your lawn full of grass clippings!
If you do have grass clippings or other yard waste removal tasks you need help with, a Tasker can lend a hand.
A good rule of thumb is to keep your lawn at 2.5-3 inches. Any shorter than 2 inches, and your lawn might weaken. It’s good to cut your lawn when it gets to as tall as 3.5-4.5 inches to keep it from getting too uneven and wild. Regular lawn mowing is important especially in the warmer months when grass grows faster. Be sure to talk to your Tasker about regular lawn mowing services or lawn care so that you’re always on top of the tasks!
Watering your lawn depends on the season and climate, but generally speaking it’s ideal to have your lawn watered 1-3 times per week. Regularly watering your lawn as well as having your lawn mowed will help you keep your lawn even, clean, and healthy. Most Taskers will be more than happy to help you water your lawn as well as mowing it!
If you have your lawn mowed regularly, leaving some grass clippings can be a good source of nutrients for your lawn. However, if you mow infrequently the grass clippings will be large and make your lawn look quite messy.
