He removed some items from my home which I specified should be donated to a charity nearby, which would then give him a receipt to send me. I gave Chris two options for donation locations, which I had prescreened. I didn't get a receipt from Chris after, and had to get Taskrabbit support involved. When Chris finally sent me a receipt, it was clear he ignored my instructions and just dropped my things at a dump along with trash from other jobs. Now, since I don't have a receipt from a legit charity, I can't claim a tax deduction for the donations. We paid Chris's quote (which now seems high) in the way he requested, gave a nice tip in person, and tried to make the job as clear and easy as possible.. and then he couldn't be bothered to follow simple directions after he left our apartment.
