It was $500 for removing junk from my yard & garage. Took 1 hour so he charged 1 hour of labor but wanted it all off-app which caught me by surprise bc lots of people charge off site but they leave an hour to close the task and the opportunity to review at least. I insisted we do some of it through the app at which point, he charged me $150 through the app and wanted me to go through the review process in front of him and even motioned to click the Good button on my screen, himself. At this point, I was suspicious & getting emotionally upset and fighting back tears, told him not to touch my phone, he said he has a family, and said he didn’t want the money, that I didn’t have to pay him if he didn’t do a good job but I couldn’t not pay him what we agreed on so I sent the money through Zelle.
