Window air conditioning units can be easily installed by yourself. However, HVAC systems are best left to professionals. HVAC technicians not only install the unit correctly and safely but also guarantee compliance with local building codes and regulations.

When you need help installing awkward and bulky window AC units, turn to Taskrabbit. Taskers, who have hours of experience installing window units, come prepared with weather seal so you can stay cool without compromising efficiency.

When your HVAC system isn't performing well, book an HVAC Tasker. Taskers will inspect your unit and recommend solutions, such as repairing refrigerant leaks or addressing electrical issues, before suggesting a replacement.

HVAC air conditioning units should be installed in a shady area, approximately two to three feet away from the house. Installing an HVAC system on the north or south side of your home is ideal. Placing your HVAC or window unit in a sunny area will cause it to work harder, leading to higher energy bills and decreased efficiency.
