• Mia W.This review is long overdue and I just didn’t have time to sit and write it, due to the move and relocation process. I was overwhelmed, crying, frustrated and just fatigued trying to commute 6+ hours daily, whilst trying to find time to pack up a place that I had for over a decade with not one family member within a 13 hour drive radius. I kept looking for solutions and I was beyond skeptical about using taskrabbit or any online platform to hire assistance, for many reasons but I was at the end of my rope and had to take a deep dive. I looked at reviews and David’s profile popped up with availability, so I just bit the bullet and booked him. David showed up ON TIME and was professional, polite, and most importantly efficient. I had ALOT of hiccups with my move and he was accommodating and never made me feel bad. Little did he know, I was crying driving the Uhaul back because I was overwhelmed and flat out exhausted- I had been living in multiple locations for years and commuting back and forth before taking the plunge to fully relocate for work! On another note, I use to get sent items from big brand companies to review products and services, as a side hustle, during grad school and one thing I did faithfully was tell my honest opinion and speak up when someone gets it right or wrong (iykyk about certain people who do reviews), so there are no gimmicks or kickbacks here -I am giving my honest review. This task was paid fully with my money and I was not asked to review my experience by David or taskrabbit, but I wanted to make sure that I gave honest feedback for anyone else on the fence about hiring someone to assist them with their move. David is awesome and although I don’t know anything about him personally, I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone and I am grateful that he had availability, at my time of chaos.
