I've been helping people move with Task Rabbit for about two years now and have helped family and friends move for years before that! I show up on time, work hard, and am very helpful. I'm good at what I do, I enjoy helping people, and just taking some of the stress of moving off people to make the process easier. Also, it's like having a gym membership I don't have to pay for, so thank you in advance for the workout!

I happen to own far too much stuff, most of it valuable, delicate, electronic or other. I hate to see anything get damaged unnecessarily, even if it means removing a window and getting a crane is the best solution for your move. I have moved tvs that weigh over 500lbs that don't fit in elevators where this is the only solution. At the same time I am a master of Tetris and if you just need to fill a box truck to the max and get your stuff from a to b then I am game for that too!

Frequently asked questions about furniture movers

Furniture rearrangement prices start at $45 per hour in Phoenix.

Moving heavy furniture starts with getting a buddy and planning your route. When ready to move, disassemble any parts (if possible) to make the furniture lighter, and wrap the piece for protection. Then place furniture sliders or blankets underneath for easier sliding. When lifting, use your legs, not your back. For tall furniture, tilt it to distribute the weight, making it easier to move.
