Frequently Asked Questions

Taskers tend to charge between $24-30 per hour for storage unit moving services which may also include packing, moving, and using their vehicle to help you transport your belongings.

Your Tasker will help you measure and prepare your furniture for storage--it is advisable to use fabric covering (such as bedsheets) for sofas and furniture, as shrink wrap can trap moisture in your furniture. You want your items to be clean and dry before going into storage.

Taskers will be happy to move your belongings from your storage unit to anywhere and vice-versa. Some Taskers can even use their own vehicles to help you move!

Be sure to clean and dry out everything before putting it in storage. Clothes and fabrics should not go in cardboard boxes--ideally they should be stored in airtight containers so that elements and pests cannot contaminate them. A Tasker would be happy to help you pack your belongings for storage and/or your move!
