Product Updates

1. New tests for TV Mounting

  1. What this means: TV Mounting is now its own category for select clients to book! This is currently a test, which means you may receive some task invitations in TV Mounting and some in the General Mounting as we await results. No matter what skills you’re opted into (General Mounting and/or TV Mounting), clients will still be able to see reviews, task history, and performance from the Mounting category overall when booking.
  2. Why we did it: As part of our ongoing category restructuring effort, we’re now introducing this update into our client experience. 

Bug Fixes
  • We’ve fixed a bug that was causing some users to see strange colors on their work area maps.
  • We’ve fixed a bug that was zooming out some Taskers’ maps and turning them purple.
  • We’ve applied a long-term fix for a bug that was causing the Tasker app to freeze during registration after Taskers entered a postal code to get matched with a metro.

It’s officially spring, which means clients need cleaning! Use this seasonal inspiration to get new clients and grow your business. Now that deep cleaning and regular cleaning fall under the Cleaning category, scoping the task to understand your client’s needs is critical—and also a great opportunity to upsell your services!
