Tasker Update (App Version 4.78.0)

We made some updates to your Tasker app! Check out the sections below to see what changed.

Introducing partner tasks! 🤝 More opportunities for you.

What this means: Partner tasks make it easier for clients to book and create more opportunities for you. Here’s how they work:

  1. You’ll receive partner task invitations based on your availability and the skills you’ve enabled. These tasks will always be clearly identified with the partner’s name and logo.
  2. All partner tasks are set at a fixed price, so you will see your earnings for the task prior to acceptance. Expenses cannot be added to partner tasks. Rest assured, you are still able to set your own hourly rate for non-partner tasks.
  3. Once you accept the invitation, you can proceed with the partner task as you would with any other task. You can still connect with clients to share information about the task at hand and sort logistics related to parking or access codes. Your chat will work as normal!

Meet our first partners using partner tasks:

  • Tushy—known for its modern bidets that upgrade any bathroom experience—is a Plumbing task partner.
  • Windmill—known for its energy-efficient window air conditioners—is a Mounting task partner.
  • UPLIFT Desk—known for its ergonomic standing desks and workspace solutions—is a Furniture Assembly task partner.
  • Arcade1Up—known for its retro-style arcade cabinets that bring classic gaming into the home—is a Furniture Assembly task partner.
  • Burrow–known for its modern furniture with modular, customizable designs that prioritize convenience, style, and sustainability–is a Furniture Assembly task partner.

To opt out of receiving partner task invitations, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Performance tab
  2. Select Skills & Rates
  3. Under “See skills,” select the relevant skill
  4. Tab to “Partners” tab on Category screen
  5. Toggle each relevant Partner on/off

By removing a skill, you will no longer receive automatic partner task invitations associated with that skill. You can always re-enable the skill later if you change your mind.

Why we did it: By partnering with other companies we’re able to bring you even more opportunities as a Tasker!
