About me
A lot of my jobs start with, “It’s a little hard to explain…” Maybe something almost works but not quite, something needs to fit an odd space, or you just have a list of things around the house that need someone who can figure them out. That’s usually where I’m most useful. I’m a Licensed General Contractor with 10+ years in remodeling and over 30 years working with wood. I like practical fixes, clean finish work, and finding a better way when the obvious solution doesn’t quite work. I’ve been a Tasker since 2019.

Door, Cabinet, & Furniture Repair for $87.75/hr

You shouldn’t have to lift the door to close it, push a cabinet door into place, or fight with a drawer every day. If a door rubs, the latch misses, a cabinet won’t line up, or a drawer won’t slide right, that’s the kind of problem I like figuring out. Hinges, slides, catches, locks and hardware — I fix what’s actually off and get it working right again. 30+ years woodworking. Licensed General Contractor.

New home, long to-do list? You don’t need a different person for every little job. Mirrors, shelves, curtain rods, hooks, artwork, cabinets, hardware — I’m happy to work through the list with you and get the little things finished properly. I’ve done thousands of mounting and installation jobs over the years, on just about every wall type you’ll find in a home. Licensed General Contractor. I don’t take high-elevation work.

Baseboards look easy until the corners don’t meet. Kitchen cabinets look simple until the wall isn’t square. Shelves are easy — until nothing lines up. I actually like that part: making it fit the house. I install and modify kitchen cabinets, baseboards, moulding, shelving, storage and small built-ins. I’ve been working with wood for over 30 years. Licensed General Contractor.

It works… sort of. The door closes, but not quite right. The cabinet works, but never lines up. Maybe someone already fixed it, but it still bugs you. I actually like jobs like that. Doors, cabinets, trim, hardware, shelving, odd repairs — I’m usually pretty good at figuring out what’s off and getting it right. Licensed General Contractor. 10+ years in remodeling, 30+ years working with wood.

Caulking is one of those little things you notice every day when it’s done badly. Cracked edges, peeling caulk, messy lines around a vanity, countertop, tub, baseboard or trim — I can clean it up and make it look finished again. For most normal jobs, I bring the caulk with me, so you don’t need to figure out what to buy. Larger jobs or specialty sealants may need additional materials.

A TV can go up pretty fast, but it may stay on that wall for years. What matters is knowing it’s solid and secure. Not sure what’s behind the wall or what hardware should be holding your TV? That’s the part I take seriously. I’ve mounted over 1,000 TVs, up to 85”, including Frame TVs and soundbars, on drywall, wood or metal studs, tile, brick, stone and concrete. Licensed General Contractor.
