In the\u00a0<\/i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.taskrabbit.com\/blog\/category\/features\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Weekend Routine\u00a0<em>series<\/em><\/a><i>, we take a look at how the people who inspire us use their weekends to find a balance between planning for the week ahead and taking a break from the daily grind.<\/i><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Duke Moose says he was made for the job of being the best third wheel known to man. After <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a passion for wildlife photography led to shooting weddings a couple years ago, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/dukemoose\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Duke<\/a> has traveled across Greece, Switzerland, Canada, and the United States to capture love in some of the most beautiful places on earth. His busiest day? Since every week is different, I don\u2019t have a set schedule all the time. The only thing that\u2019s guaranteed is editing photos. I\u2019m not one to go to bed early so I\u2019ll usually stay up late doing who knows what. With my job, every day can feel like a weekend. In fact, the weekends are usually the busiest times so it seems like weekdays sometimes are the real weekends!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.taskrabbit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/43778962_290069008512870_1183579627318342816_n.jpg\" alt=\"43778962_290069008512870_1183579627318342816_n\" class=\"wp-image-9853\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Saturday<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>Wedding day. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I love weddings, but the days are very, very long and extremely tiring. When I\u2019m done, I usually have a lot of back pain from standing and shooting for so many hours. But once I get to the venue and the festivities begin, I typically am having the time of my life so I don&#8217;t mind it at all.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.taskrabbit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/39932188_541976556224109_686062510901559296_n.jpg\" alt=\"39932188_541976556224109_686062510901559296_n\" class=\"wp-image-9854\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>Pre-ceremony prep. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before I get to the wedding I make sure to clear my memory cards and charge my camera and flash battery. Then I look over my notes about the big day. I make sure to know where the wedding is, what time I need to be set up by, and other details so I know exactly what is going on.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>The late-night scene.&nbsp;<\/b>If it&#8217;s not a wedding day, I love to do something active, like going to trampoline parks, lunch, or the local Utah Jazz game if they&#8217;re playing that night. I love seasonal activities as well. Haunted houses are one of my favorite things, and I love driving around looking at people&#8217;s Christmas lights! Since I&#8217;m such a night owl, t<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">he best part of the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">weekends is that everything is open later. I always like having options of things to do when I want to get out of the house and have the bug for an activity.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sunday<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>Saturdays are for shooting, Sundays for editing. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sundays are always filled with editing. I check to see what day I have photoshoots or days I might be traveling to my next photoshoot. If I\u2019m traveling, I also make sure to set aside time to prepare for that. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>Dining out. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since my weekends are so busy, I usually don\u2019t have any \u201cmust-do\u201d activities. If I have some free time, I try to visit restaurants in town. But if I am going to do something you can always catch me at a restaurant.
