Pack it Up!<\/h4>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4093\/4758670232_fbe0eb6163.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You don&#8217;t have\u00a0to spend big bucks on buying boxes for all your stuff. You have a few options to lighten the moving price tag:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Check your local Craigslist to see if anyone&#8217;s giving away boxes for free or for a discounted price.<\/li>\n<li>Look on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uhaul.com\/Exchange\/\">U-Haul<\/a>&#8216;s site that facilitates customer box exchanges.<\/li>\n<li>Call\u00a0up your local bank or favorite pizza shop and see if they have any up for grabs. Many\u00a0businesses often have boxes\u00a0laying around that are looking for a home.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>2. But do you really want to move ALL of it?\u00a0It&#8217;s time to let go.<\/p>\n<p>When packing, consider this question when you come across iffy items:\u00a0<strong>Have I used it in the past couple months?<\/strong> If you&#8217;re struggling to remember the answer,\u00a0sayonara!<\/p>\n<p>Also, you might find you have multiples of the same item. You don&#8217;t REALLY need 5 ceramic elephants, afterall. You can always hold a yard sale for your unneeded\u00a0goods or donate them to Salvation Army so someone else can enjoy them.<\/p>\n<h4>3. Make a legend that shows movers which boxes should go in which rooms. You&#8217;ll stay organized by tagging each box with the color that corresponds to the room its supposed to go in. Voila! Moving, simplified.<\/p>\n<p>If you do decide to label your boxes, make sure to write on the SIDE of the box instead of the top. That way, when you stack &#8217;em up, you&#8217;ll still be able to read what&#8217;s inside!<\/p>\n<h4>4. Assign a number to each box, and jot down each number with its contents. That way you&#8217;ll know if somethings missing \u00a0or if something isn&#8217;t where it&#8217;s supposed to go.<\/p>\n<h4>5. Make Use of Suitcases<\/h4>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/9\/8183\/8125895137_135c25ae0d_z.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"612\" height=\"612\" \/><br \/>\nWhat&#8217;s the point of tons of cardboard boxes when you already own the perfect moving device? Load up your suitcases with heavy items, like books. You can also fill up luggage with all the essentials you&#8217;ll be needing for your first night so you don&#8217;t have to rummage through a jillion boxes before hitting the hay. Fill it with a change of clothes, blankets, sheets, basic toiletries, maybe even a roll of toilet paper. It&#8217;s like you&#8217;re going on vacation &#8211; forever! Doesn&#8217;t that sound nice?<\/p>\n<h4>6. No need to use abrasive tape to close your dressers and drawers shut. Press-N-Seal is the perfect medium to make sure your things stay in their homes without ruining the condition of your furniture.
