Usually, you can find someone nearby with jumper cables and a running car engine that can help you out. But what do you do if it\u2019s not your car that needs a jump, but your motor scooter? That\u2019s the dilemma Johnny Gratton found himself in.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Let\u2019s Get It Started (Or Not)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of Johnny\u2019s favorite things about summertime living in downtown Chicago is riding around on his motor scooter, which sits in his garage during the colder months. But this spring, his pavement-chasing dreams were squandered when he pulled his bike out and found that it wasn\u2019t working.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cMy scooter wouldn\u2019t start due to the bike sitting over the winter, so I needed to find a way to transport the bike to the dealer.\u201d Johnny knew of only one option, which sounded like a pain: \u201cI didn\u2019t want to rent a huge truck to transport the scooter, and I didn\u2019t want to load and transport alone.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He thought through the problem while riding the train &#8211; that\u2019s where he learned that there was a better way.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2058\" src=\"https:\/\/dolly.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/14292237_1559970544029117_5021417997663666695_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"717\" height=\"960\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.taskrabbit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/14292237_1559970544029117_5021417997663666695_n.jpg 717w, https:\/\/www.taskrabbit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/14292237_1559970544029117_5021417997663666695_n-224x300.jpg 224w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 717px) 100vw, 717px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>Ready to Ride<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI was on the CTA blue line and there was an advertisement for Dolly. It was by chance when I read the advertisement, but I immediately logged into the site to read about it. I decided to <a href=\"https:\/\/book.dolly.com\/?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=move-motor-scooter-when-broken\">book a Dolly<\/a>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shortly after, Johnny\u2019s Helper Robert arrived with his pickup truck, ready to lift. \u201cRobert was very professional and on-time. He assured me that my scooter was in good hands, and he was right.\u201d Robert took Johnny\u2019s scooter to the repair shop safely, and thankfully, the repair shop fixed it right away.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2060\" src=\"https:\/\/dolly.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/14639730_1624366257589545_1048978337837940385_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"717\" height=\"960\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With his scooter now fixed, Johnny can ride around Chicago and enjoy the warm weather (while it lasts) &#8211; and he\u2019ll use Dolly next time he needs something moved. \u201cI\u2019ve already recommended Dolly to my friends and family.
