In times like these, it\u2019s possible that those who still believe in romance may have simply resigned themselves to lowered expectations. But where some see low standards, others see a healthy challenge. With a little optimism one could believe that maybe, just maybe, they have what it takes to fix someone. Will it be worth the investment in the end? Who knows. But some people will put up with just about anything to avoid a lifetime of putting on a duvet cover alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No one appreciates the hard work that goes into DIY projects more than Taskrabbit, and this Valentine&#8217;s Day, we want to celebrate all the brave lovers who settled for a fixer-upper. We know you worked hard to teach them that Portugal isn\u2019t in South America and that underwear isn\u2019t clean if you just turn a dirty pair inside out. You taught them about face wash, therapy, and separating whites when doing laundry. Now, it\u2019s time for <em>you<\/em> to get a little TLC (because let\u2019s be honest, they can\u2019t even book a reservation on OpenTable without your help). In the spirit of St. Valentine, we created a menu of extra-special offerings to take some of the fixing off your to-do list:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Build a bed frame<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clear the empty bottles out of the bedroom<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Get the hair off the wall of the shower<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mount a shelf for their action figure collection (love is about compromise)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Properly frame and hang that <em>Ocean\u2019s Twelve<\/em> poster taped to the wall<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deep clean that damp, damp bathroom (because your partner, \u201cdoesn\u2019t believe in shower curtains\u201d)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Crumb removal from bed sheets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For all of you braving the road of modern dating, we salute you! To heck with what your therapist, mother, close friends, and that gossipy cashier said about your significant other\u2014this relationship<em> is<\/em> worth it.
