That\u2019s why we recommend figuring out what kind of storage systems you might need as a first step. This may require that you first take inventory of what you have in your cabinets, drawers, pantry, fridge, etc. Once you know what storage systems are best for your kitchen, you can start tackling the smaller areas like your silverware drawers or that dreaded Tupperware cabinet. Place all your items back in your pantry by category. Pro tip: take items that will expire first and place them to the front of the pantry. From old leftovers to expired condiments, there are likely more than a few items that are ready to be thrown away. Start by pulling everything out and checking to see what\u2019s expired. When you are ready to put everything back, first take a look at what you have and where you might be able to maximize the space in your fridge. Cut up large fruits and vegetables, use stackable containers and group like items.
