Description:

I need somebody to input bank statement transactions in to an Excel spreadsheet. There are a total of 60 monthly statements between several checking and credit card accounts. In the past it has taken 15-30 minutes to input each statement depending on the number of transactions. I would estimate this to be about a 20-hour project for somebody who is proficient with typing and Excel. I will provide the statements either in hard copy or electronically (PDF format) and you will input the transactions on your own computer. I am willing to provide a bonus to complete the project by Wednesday, February 2.

Understood. Usually after about 90 days or 6 months most banks allow you to get your statements via .PDF or hard copy. I ry to download them within 30-60 days. I have Money, Quickbooks & excel (2003 & 2007). I can do it for the bid placed on my offer.

Preparing for tax season? Are any of the bank army's electronic so they can be downloaded into .xls file?

I have already downloaded all of the transactions the banks have available in Excel format. The remaining statements, mostly from 2009 are not available, which is why I need them input manually.

How many entries are required for each transaction? How many transactions would you estimate there are? Do you have the format for the spreadsheet already created? What version of Excel do we need to use? Thanks.

Standard information such as date, vendor, memo, amount. It would be difficult for me to estimate the number of transactions without spending significant time going through the statements for each account. I have a template for you to use and any version of Excel is fine.
