Description:

I have a 32" tv that I have mounted to the wall in my room along with a shelf that holds the cable box and dvd player. I am looking for someone who knows how to hide the cords behind the wall so they dont show hanging down to the outlet.

Electrician here... While I agree with Chris, if you're the home-owner you can do pretty much anything you want. If you rent, however, maybe it's time for an outlet installation... let me know if that's likeable and I'll put in a bid!

Jennifer, I would recommend having an electrician install a new outlet directly behind the TV. It is a serious electrical code violation to run a power cord through the back of the wall. Your other option is to install a plastic exterior concealing strip which would neatly hide your cables and power cord. Let me know if you would like to go this route as I would be happy to handle this for you. Thanks
