Costume design and construction

I'm designing a kickass halloween costume this year. While I can sew and work with fabric, I am really more of an Engineer. I'd really like some help with:
- An initial meeting to go over the design and layout of the costume
- Taking any measurements necessary
- The actual sewing/construction of the costume

The costume will be a psychedelic octopus. I am designing a micro-controller that will power LEDs and el-wire, which I will stitch into the costume after construction. The LEDs and el-wire will light up and react to sound.
