Helping to set up a home server network (Apple/Mac products)

I recently purchased a Mac Mini with Lion OSX Server. I need someone to actually set up the server network so my computers/other iOS devices can be on that network too (like a home office thing, but for personal use). It would be the Mac Mini, a MacBook, and an iPad. Not sure if iPhones can get in on the party but if so, 1-2 of those. ALso would need the remote/VNC feature set up; I have a website but no idea how to use it.
