Yes it's a window unit. I have the metal brackets already, but have never installed one so I'm not sure if there will be drilling. There is no noise restriction that I'm aware of, and there is currently construction going on around my apartment, so I doubt it. I'd prefer to have it done in the evening (7-10pm?) either tonight or tomorrow night.
