About my work:
I have worked in the publishing industry as a copy editor and proofreader (and editing) for close to five years, having worked with three different publishers--two of them simultaneously.

I have experience working in the environmental and gardening fields, teaching ecology and performing duties in horticulture and yard work. I have also worked as an ESL teacher to teenagers and writing tutor to children.

I have years of customer service experience and am public service oriented.

I seek out opportunities that involve public service and community interaction as integral elements for achievement. My work in the not-for-profit sector was dedicated to serving local communities, as well as helping companies and organizations come together to promote sustainable longevity.
I relish each experience I have had as opening doors to my attributes, waiting to accommodate to the job at hand.

I enjoy camping, biking, hiking, at home dinner get together with friends, working on my bike, and trips to Ikea. Also, preparing and cooking vegan and vegetarian dishes, listening to music on WQXR, Q104.3, and Spotify.
I also volunteer with NYCares and Recycle-A-Bicycle.
