How Recurring Tasks Work

Are you ready to banish grocery shopping from your To-Do list for good? How about house-cleaning, laundry, or washing the dog? Setting a Recurring Task makes it breezy to use the same TaskRabbit for repeat Tasks, at the same price. Here's how it works:

Step 1: Set it…

Create your Recurring Task and set a frequency. Once bids come in, you'll be matched with your awesome TaskRabbit.

Completed every week by Friday at 11:00 AM

Step 2:Forget it!

Your TaskRabbit will receive email reminders whenever it's time to complete your Task again — no need to re-post.

It’s time to complete the Task:

Got some questions? We have the answers:

How does payment work?

Your TaskRabbit will request payment after each Task is complete. You can choose to pay as soon as that happens or wait for auto-pay, which will occur 24 hours after the Task is marked complete.

I'd prefer to choose my own TaskRabbit, can I do that with Recurring Tasks?

You sure can. Simply select the option to review TaskRabbits first when you're setting up your Task.

What if I want to cancel my recurring Task?

We're betting you won't, but all you have to do is click "Cancel Task" on your Recurring Task page.

What if I need to reschedule?

TaskPosters can discuss schedule details directly with TaskRabbits, or schedule changes through your Task page. If your TaskRabbit needs to reschedule, she'll get in touch with you directly.

I have a favorite TaskRabbit, how can I assign her to my Recurring Task?

Just go to her page and find the "Hire" button in the top right corner. Click it, and you're ready to go.

What am I going to do with all this time I'm saving?

That's up to you, but we suggest tickling puppies.
