TaskRabbit is trying to change the way people get everyday tasks done. We're pioneering something we call "service networking" — it's like social networking, except instead of tagging embarrassing pictures of each other, arguing about politics, or putting a baby photo where a profile snapshot should go, our members help each other save time and make money. How about that!
We're building a marketplace that safely and reliably connects neighbors to get things done through the melding of social, location-based, and mobile technologies. We're getting down and/or dirty with social graph analysis and analytics-driven optimization, with an eye toward user experience that's both pleasant and frictionless, like a Slip 'n' Slide doused in baby oil.
We're makers, not worriers — we build things and put 'em in front of our customers, and then we keep what's awesome and fix what's broken. Sound good? If you think you'd like to come give us a hand, we'd love to have you come along for the ride.
